Over the
past 20 years, Tyho-Galileo scientists have been involved with the
development of many valuable techniques in the areas of assisted
reproduction and genetic analysis. For the most part, these
techniques have been openly published and extended throughout the
human reproduction community for the benefit of all. However, in
some situations, research and development into novel techniques
has been conducted in a proprietary fashion. Patents have been
awarded to Tyho-Galileo scientists for a variety of clinical products
and recently for several techniques of great potential importance
to assisted reproduction and other areas of human biomedicine.
A patent
is in provisional status for the development of ligands for
reproductive medicine. A second patent has recently been granted
to Tyho-Galileo scientists for a new methodology to potentially create
embryonic stem cells from aggregated embryos. These patents may be
viewed below and other patent documents will be added as
appropriate.
