Our Goals

Tyho-Galileo will build upon the track record of its founders to establish a reputation for setting and achieving an unsurpassed standard of care. The creation of a worldwide network of dependable laboratories will provide patients with the reassurance that the treatment they receive at a Tyho-Galileo Center will be of the highest quality, that the technology used will be dependable and consistent, and that their plan of care will involve the safe application of the latest advances in ART.  Within this context, Tyho-Galileo’s goals are as follows.

  • Tyho-Galileo’s first goal is to conduct research that will lead to development of improved diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and techniques, increasing the quality, safety,  predictability, and efficiency of ART , while reducing the overall cost of infertility treatment.

  • The Tyho-Galileo network will also seek to support advancements in embryology research with the general aim of enhancing the understanding of fertilization and conception. Particular attention will be paid to novel molecular approaches to gamete and embryo viability assessment, and the development of alternatives to standard technology, such as ICSI and biopsy.

  • A third but equally important goal is to enhance understanding of the underlying causes of infertility and associated genetic diseases and to develop avenues for prevention, diagnosis and treatment.

The Tyho-Galileo network will also encourage the exchange of valuable scientific and clinical information, through periodic scientific symposia and ongoing communication between and among research scientists and practicing clinicians at Tyho-Galileo Centers worldwide.
