A
limited
number of IVF centers in selected areas worldwide will be invited to
participate as affiliated Tyho-Galileo Centers. Early access to information on clinical enhancements that will improve
results will attract additional patients and support ongoing marketing efforts.
Services available via the Tyho-Galileo
network will allow participating Tyho-Galileo
Centers to possibly reduce certain operating costs.
The following are among the services available to participating Tyho-Galileo
Centers.

Exclusive
use
of the Tyho-Galileo name within an agreed upon geographic area.

Reference as “a
participating Tyho-Galileo Network Center” in brochures newsletters and
business cards.
-
An
initial
assessment of the organization’s ART program, including review of
staffing, techniques, equipment and supplies relative to an “optimal”
embryology lab environment.
-
Site-visits by a senior member of the research team, during which time a
member of the team may be scheduled to address clinicians and/or patient
groups in support of educational and marketing goals.

Ongoing access to a senior member of the research
team for “trouble-shooting” and
other consulting assistance (up to six (6) hours per month at no
additional charge.

Exclusive access to web-based information with
up-to-the-minute
reports on current research, clinical protocols, and emerging ART-related
issues.
-
An opportunity to participate in
clinical trials and laboratory research investigations, including
support with IRB approval processes, clinical staff orientation and patient
education.

An opportunity to participate in
authorship
of articles and papers for publication in peer review journals.
-
Access to publication databases.
Through
the Tyho-Galileo network, participating IVF
programs will be associated with a large group of highly experienced clinical
embryologists and reproductive scientists, and will be involved in cutting edge
research without the burden of running a large and complex research laboratory,
all for a fraction of the costs. Technology
developed in one Tyho-Galileo Center can be
immediately applied to other centers. Shared
access to a group of world class scientists will give participating centers an
advantage in marketing, expand troubleshooting capacities and provide the
potential for authorship. Patient
education about Tyho-Galileo and its work, both through the internet and through other
means of communication, provides yet another means of enhancing the efficacy of
reproductive endocrinology work and attracting new patients.
Membership
Support and On-site Assistance
Reproductive
medicine practices accepted for participation as Tyho-Galileo Centers will receive a comprehensive on-site review of
staffing, techniques, equipment and supplies which will allow the Tyho-Galileo Team
to provide a number of recommendations for an “optimal” embryology
laboratory environment. The on-site
review process will also help to establish a good, close working relationship
between professional staff at the Tyho-Galileo
Center and key members of the Tyho-Galileo
Research Team.
During
the membership period, participating Tyho-Galileo
Centers will enjoy ongoing access to senior Tyho-Galileo members for
“trouble-shooting” and consulting assistance. This may be provided on an ad hoc basis or provided in accordance with a
specific schedule agreed upon in advance. The Tyho-Galileo Team will endeavor to meet
each Tyho-Galileo Center’s need to remain
competitive and to distinguish itself from alternative providers of ART
services. Membership in the Tyho-Galileo network will also provide round-the-clock confidential access to the
Tyho-Galileo website for current protocols, procedures, the latest technology and, more
importantly, on-line access to the Tyho-Galileo
Research Team.
Reaching
out to current and prospective patients is a key element of the Tyho-Galileo
strategy. Participating Tyho-Galileo
Centers will have exclusive use of the Tyho-Tyho-Galileo
name and its associations within an agreed upon area in marketing and
promotional materials. Tyho-Galileo will assist with development and release of an initial press
release announcing the designation of an organization as “a Tyho-Galileo
Center,” and will include reference of the program in the Tyho-Galileo
website.
A
member of the Tyho-Galileo Research Team
will, upon request, make presentations to patients, assist with the distribution
of educational literature, address FAQ’s, and provide other support as needed
for general local promotion of each Tyho-Galileo Center.
Tyho-Galileo may also share valuable information in the form
of promotional brochures and other printed material to help keep
staff and patients well informed of the current trends in the diagnosis and
treatment of infertility.
